Every day Harry fought not to cry. At night, under the stars, was his time of release.
Draco was an empty shell – but still alive. It hurt so much to see him that way.
Harry hadn’t visited before the Dementors performed the Kiss. He’d fooled himself into believing he no longer felt for Draco. He had gone on with his life, choosing to ignore the void of loneliness in his heart.
But he’d been there to see him die. Oh, every day Harry might visit the husk that was Draco Malfoy, but he knew there was no one there anymore.
